Would you guys find it wrong/creepy/offensive if I were to craft an owl battle claw for the foot of a taxidermy owl? What about if I were to create a battle helmet to be worn by a taxidermy owl?
Deactivation Imminent - date TBD
I was hoping I wouldn't have to genuinly nuke this account, but honestly, I cannot remember how much personal information I have leaked on to here over the years, and I fear it'll be enough to compromise my online security in future. So, I think I will be deactivating sometime in the near future. However, I am a digital hoarder and will probably try to back up everything before deleting it, and that might take a while. Also I'd like to send alerts to people who've bought my adopts over the years so the stuff they've paid for doesn't vanish into thin air, which might also take awhile. So I don't know *when* this account will bite the dust, but this is just a heads up that it will. Pieces that I think still hold up will probably be reuploaded to my new account, @BrochJam EDIT/UPDATE So, this is the order things are going to be deleted in, probably - - Personal artwork/fan art - Journals - Line art/resources (the good stuff will be re-uploaded, P2U lines will be F2U) - Scraps, any
FREE ADOPTS ON MY TWITTER
HI so I spent a lot of today closing down sold adopts and breedables and realized I still have a few unsold. They aren't worth it to me to move to my new account so I'm going to post them all as a twitter thread in maybe an hour or so. First come, first serve, reply to claim. I'll make the thread my pinned for a bit. my twitter: @ BrochJam
Semi-Moved (activity status update)
Hi! So this is just a bit of a clarification that, while I will primarily be posting from my new account @BrochJam from now on, I haven’t straight up abandoned this account and will likely still access it in future for various reasons. Everything in my last journal, such as my reasons for moving, still stand. My level of activity on this account will, however, be limited, so if you need to get into contact with me, I suggest you go to my new account. ................. Not entirly related but I’m currently in the process of changing the usernames of all my active social media accounts to “BrochJam”. I’ve so far made that my twitter, my AO3 (where I plan to mostly post Lupin III fanfiction, if that’s your bag) and plan to make it my Instagram. Possibly also my FurAffinity, which is currently still ProjectOWL, although admittedly I can’t remember the last time I used FurAffinity.. As far as the near future goes, expect more self-indulgent Ceratops City character art over on
MOVING
In short: I have moved accounts and I am now primarily going to be using BrochJam (https://www.deviantart.com/brochjam). While I will not be deleting this account, I will likely not be active here with any regularity in future.

Well, it’s been a ride, but I feel like I’m entering a new phase in my life. I’m not the same person I was 3 or 5 years ago, and while I’m not exactly ashamed of who I used to be (ok, maybe I am - I had no tact whatsoever when I first joined) I kind of want to start anew. I mean, my content probably won’t change from what it currently is, I’ll just pick up where I left off.
Nothing huge prompted this. Hon

I've attempted making battle claws and a helmet for taxidermied owls, however it's pretty challenging. you'll have to be mindful of how delicate the mount itself is, older mounts tend to have feather shafts snap under even the smallest weight. I would reccomend using tin or aluminium flashing (very thin sheet metal you can buy from hardware stores which can be cut with strong scissors) for the helmet at least. other mediums like clay can damage the mount.
Good luck with it!
